This agency has guards always reporting late to work as a result that they are attached on other sites and had to leave the site to resume at the present. In doing so, many have falsify the time in and time out book. Also the handing and taking over in the occurrence book is not correct of the timing. This company expects alot from the guards and pays them very little between S$45-S$60 and most of the guards are working 2shifts. There are no documents or photo frame showing a letter from MOM that they are authorize to do OTs.

Futhermore most of the guards here do not have a payslip, out of the 100 or more guards you question, you will realize that most of them do not get a payslip. What they want to do is cover their tracks and try to make more money from these guards who work long and tiring hours. They dont even calculate the OT pay accordingly. For one, the accounts woman in their department is very rude and she is a Filipino.

Here it goes to show another agency which does not follow the rules as there are no government body to keep track of what is going on. Only if the government would issue all companies some sort of card reader so as when the guards come for duty they will be link to SIRD so that SIRD will also know whether these guards are doing OTs. The government should get harsh with all these fraud/irregularities that has been happening in the security agencies. Employment for singaporeans are low due to companies like this using Malaysians as security officers. Cheap labour gives you cheap security.

Ok now for this agency, they have a daily pay scale where they pay daily between S$45-S$65 or more at the end of each shift and they also have weekly/fortnightly payments. Here is also another company where the guards are also sleeping between 2-3 hours. Either they are using their dvd players to watch movie or they will be surfing the internet mainly at Orchard Plaza where some are station. Many of you have read about the incident in Orchard Plaza, the security guards are under these agency. One thing about it is that the guards that are stationed there are not the least interested in what is happening around and in the building. I caught them sleeping at times. Especially the ones who are doing the night shift. There are a couple of clubs in the building and there are always fights that erupt but they tend not to bother and even do not call the police when such incident happen. Until someone gets beaten up badly/murder/killed and they would say anything to cover themselves up. There are many close circuit cameras and if someone do monitor could see that some of the guards do go missing for a couple of hours. Imagine the excuses they could come up with.

Now there are also other sites where these agency deploy their guards, some are located in shopping malls or condos. Now if the management of all condos or shopping malls do make it a point to keep track of the guards when they come in and when they left, together with their rest period, only than will they know whether these guards are running from one site to another. I am not sure whether they have a letter from MOM stating that their guards are allowed to do OT. Do you want your premises to be well protected? Do you want your condo guards to be alert?

I leave it up to the management of all condos and places that employ this agency to know the movement of the guards and their whereabouts.

The details about this agency is that most of the guards who are working for them are Malaysians. When come to pay matters they are prompt at times. Their boss is Albert. Here is why one reason that they have been blacklisted. Their guards mainly made up of Malaysians have flauted the rules too many times over the past months. Most of the guards there work 2shifts up to 12-14shifts a week which makes it 12hr per shift. When they do the night shift,these guards tend to sleep between 2-4hours while on duty. They hide and give excuses like they were checking on certain things or issues as not to be caught. Are they given the right to do overtime for their employees by MOM. Well it seems that they have been flaunting the law. Companies who hire guards from this agency have to get their management to do a routine check of the time they come work and leave after work. Also MOM and SIRD need to check whether these guards have been flaunting the law by giving them the security license and also if they have the permit to carry on working after their shifts. Having a SIRD A Grading does not mean that they are good. Companies who hire them are advise to check the guards daily time in and time out as they come up with alot of excuses to be at another site. This is one company when comes to pay ranges from S$45.00 - S$75.00 depending on who the personnel is.
